The Kashtan Ukrainian Folk Ensemble is set to return to the big stage this Fringe season with ‘LOVE FROM UKRAINE’. This concert is a celebration and a show of support for their homeland and promises to be a breathtaking experience of Ukrainian folk music, with emotive musical arrangements and dance.

The Kashtan Ensemble is a rare gem in Adelaide’s multicultural and performing arts scene. Known for their electrifying performances at events like WOMADelaide, the ensemble has held shows across Australia and even toured Ukraine. Their ability to capture and convey the spirit of Ukrainian culture makes ‘LOVE FROM UKRAINE’ a must-see show.

With its unique Ukrainian style of vocals, this 40 person strong ensemble will share a part of Ukraine’s rich cultural heritage. The performance hopes to bring awareness to the ongoing fight to preserve Ukraine’s sovereignty and cultural identity and to the active humanitarian efforts that are being undertaken by the Australian-Ukrainian community. The Ensemble, Artistic Director Stefan Misiajlo (OAM) and its collaborators aim to gather support for Ukraine amid the ongoing invasion of their homeland.
Presented by Kashtan Folk ensemble and supported by performances with the Volya Ukrainian Cossack Dancers and Hopak Ukrainian Dancers, the concert is set to be an unforgettable experience, where the power of the performing arts helps support those in need during critical times. The proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the Ukrainian Crisis Appeal and the Defend Ukraine Appeal.

Don’t miss the chance to witness this unique event. Celebrate Ukrainian culture, support a great cause, and experience an evening of cultural expression with ‘LOVE FROM UKRAINE.’
