Ukrainian Social Services deliver the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) funded by the Department of Health and Aged Care. Our dedicated staff and trained volunteers deliver specialised services to meet the specific and diverse needs of the Ukrainian community in Adelaide.

Fluent in Ukrainian and English, we help older Ukrainian Australians (aged 65+) live independently and safely at home by providing:

  • Domestic assistance including light house cleaning.
  • Meals and shopping.
  • Social support and weekly group activities, meal included.
  • Cultural celebrations and special events.
  • Exercise classes led by qualified instructors to improve balance, mobility and health.
  • Transport.
  • Computing classes.
  • Home visits.

Our experienced, professional team offer flexible and personalised service to ensure clients retain control and choice when it comes to their health and wellbeing.

We support your rights and will:

  • Value your input and respect you at all times.
  • Work with you to improve and maintain your independence.
  • Listen to how you want your services delivered.
  • Work with your chosen advocate representing your interests.
  • Ensure your privacy and confidentiality.
