Berehynya

BEREHYNIA is a women’s community choir sharing their love of Ukraine’s rich choral traditions with audiences in South Australia. Conductor, Tetiana Elbert-Hammond devotes her specialist knowledge from musical studies in Lutsk and from the Lviv Conservatorium to mentor members and guide the choir in its celebration of Ukrainian musical arts.

Friendly and inclusive, BEREHYNIA mentors its singers in developing vocal confidence across a traditional Ukrainian repertoire. Building community connections, they regularly perform at concerts hosted by The Association of Ukrainians in SA, collaborate with fellow Ukrainian choirs and bring joy to aged-care residents by caroling at Christmas.
