Experience masterclasses in Ukrainian National Dance with three incredible instructors from Virsky Ensemble, Ukraine!

For the first time in Australia, the VIRSKYFOREVER workshop is your chance to experience the choreography and artistry of the legendary Pavlo Virsky up close! Ukrainian dancers from around Australia will be take part in an intensive and immersive experience over 6 days which promises to take their skills to the next level.

Guest instructors and Honoured Artists of Ukraine, Maksym Karpenko and Viktoriia Karpenko, and Tania Okseniuk will make the long journey from Kyiv to Adelaide, each bringing their extensive experience as professional artists of the Virsky Ensemble and instructors of Folk Dance Ensemble Barvinok.

Maksym, Viktoriia and Tania are a powerhouse of talent and dedicated ambassadors of Ukrainian culture. This unique event aims to keep Ukrainian culture alive through dance and help preserve the Spirit of Virsky for generations to come.

The workshop will finish with a presentation that is open to the public (entry by donation) where the audience will see what the group has achieved and meet the instructors in person. All funds raised will be donated to non-lethal aid to Ukraine.  Stay tuned for more details!
